Provisional playlist for first album release

Hi , so here is the provisional play list for the first release. Everyone on it has expressed some interest in the project though without any firm commitments the playlist is not set in stone, nor is it complete I think we should be looking for around 14 artists but I thought we should get the ball rolling ! . It has taken some time to find tracks that I think fit - the good news is that nearly everyone I contacted have expressed interest in the project - but we are still a couple short. If you can think of more artists or tracks to suggest that fit with the overall mood of the record and are into the idea of the collective then this is the thread to post them on . I have an idea for the theme and flow of the album - some people have several tracks that might fit this some have only one track that fits - if the track chosen for this release is for some reason is unavailable please dont be offended if another track isnt selected - that doesnt reflect on the quality of your work - other tracks might fit future releases - its just that they might not fit with this one . The play-list is in no particular order yet.

Definately will Buck - you were one of the people I hoped for a response from - I haevent got a lot of online time at the moment but when I do I will listen those tracks and the rest of your stuff.

Interesting choice.... funniest thing about that track is I almost didn't post it because I was afraid it was too ugly. My second choice would be Eunuchs In Heat, Deformity 3, which is ALMOST as ugly.

Here's a whacky idea, feel free to shoot it down in flames. What if we all composed unique pieces for the project that are not available anywhere else? Collectors love that shit. And it would make the project really special in my mind. I would buy it. On the downside, it would take awhile for us all to do so and some of us may not have the time. Another option is to submit an existing song that you would not release anywhere else until long after the vinyl project has ran its course.

It also changes the idea substantially from Augustine's, so...maybe down the road as a second project? Curious what people think about the idea though.

All ideas are welcome here - they be no flames and I think its a great idea . With regards to this release Im assuming most of these tracks arent available anywhere but soundcloud - I think if somebody wants to make a track specifically for this first release I dont see why not as long as it fits - but I do have an overall theme for this release which is subtle and hard to define - it has taken several weeks to find tracks that I felt fit with the overall feel and Im still short ! But as you say there is as you say no reason that this idea couldnt be done in the future. By the way which artist are you DAR ?

Hey guys. I've listened to all the music on the provisional playlist and I think I understand, somewhat, the feel you're going for with this album. That being said, I like the idea of composing unique pieces for a project, but I like that as being an idea for a second project. I trust Augustine's conception, whatever that may be, for this project, but I would love to continue pursuing music with this group of artists; so I hope we can pursue a second project.

Alright, I have a question Augustine. How long would you like my song to be? If you give me an approximate time I'll jump right on shortening it. I also uploaded another song that is pushing me in the direction of pure acoustic sounds, "The Man In The Shack"; but that song is about twelve minutes long and I'm not too positive if it will follow your conception for this album. I'm just throwing that one out there. But get back to me on how long you'd like "Segments/Epiphanies/Lecture On Horror" to be.

This album is going to be so nice!
